The office of the City Clerk has duties and responsibilities prescribed by law under both Rolla Municipal Code and the State of Missouri Revised Statutes which extend to numerous matters of City business and record-keeping. The City Clerk acts as keeper of official City records and deeds, and is responsible for, among other duties, keeping official minutes of City Council Meetings, and administering the oath of office to elected City officials.
Other duties of the City Clerk include accepting and opening all sealed bids pertaining to City contracts and purchases.
The City Clerk's office is located on the 3rd floor of City Hall.
